In real terms Google keep is a Google’s web based note-taking service which quickly capture what’ on your mind. It also keeps on supports Google Apps accounts, so you can use it with your own domain or a business account. The interface is colorful and easy to use. Those colors are actually organization tools that make it easy to tell your personal notes apart from your work-related ones, or your family-related ones, and so on. Google Keep is available on Google Play for devices running Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich and above.

The handy widget also allows you to quickly view or create new notes in Keep. One more handy feature is its speech-to-text recording feature. Tap the microphone to start dictating what you need to remember and it will save a recording of your voice with the text of what you said on the body content of the note. You can also download the recording through the Keep webpage. You can choose a colour for each note from the following options: white, red, orange, yellow, green, teal, blue and grey. This allows you to assign certain colours to specific areas of your life, such as work, shopping and chores etc.
You can also use it offline i.e. As long as you are using the Google Keep Chrome app, any changes made to your lists while you aren't connected to the Internet will be synced once you are online again. This is particularly useful if you have a Chrome book.
